Baum hires new Investment Sales team

Baum Realty Group is pleased to introduce Andrew Watson and Jordan Shtulman. The two will assist clients with the disposition and acquisition of commercial real estate and will head up the Investment Sales efforts.
Both Watson and Shtulman came to Baum Realty Group from the Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, where they both started in 2001 as an investment sales and tenant brokers. Past and present clients include Wal-Mart, 7-Eleven, Wendy’s Corp., Inland Acquisitions, Inland Midwest Equities, Weiss Development, UP Development and Chase Bank.

Second BRG location opens in Indianapolis
 Baum Realty Group recently opened a second office in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Indianapolis office helps Baum better serve clients looking to expand into the neighboring state. The office is headed by broker Carol Lockhart. Carol provides Tenant Representation for clients such as FedEx Kinko’s, Bo-Rics, Beef O’Brady’s, Trade Secret, Johnny Rockets, Kay Jeweler and Primrose Schools Franchising Corporation.

Baum continues adding big names to Bucktown
The profile of Bucktown/Wicker Park in Vanity Fair’s June 2007 issue highlights what most Chicagoans already know: the neighborhood is the hottest shopping corridor between the coasts. Baum broker Janika Brenner is to thank as she has made a tremendous impact on the Bucktown/Wicker Park community by bringing high-end fashion boutiques and retailers to the area. Most recently, Brenner has completed deals involving big names like Marc Jacobs and Scoop NYC, increasing her influence on the community. By the end of the year, Brenner will have added Marc by Marc Jacobs, BCBG, Levi’s and Nanette Lepore to the shopping district.
