2008 : BAUM REALTY GROUP BRINGS TWO NEW TENANTS TO DODSON PLACE Front Street Cantina and The Spice House Come to Geneva, Illinois January 17, 2008 Baum Realty Group is pleased to announce the addition of two new tenants who will occupy more than 6,500 square feet at Dodson Place, an award winning office/retail development located in the heart of downtown historic Geneva, Illinois. Doug Renner, Steve Schwartz and Ann Baumann of Baum Realty Group represented the property owner, Shodeen Management, in the transaction. “Dodson Place offers an ideal location for these upscale retail tenants,” says Doug Renner, Vice President of Landlord Services for Baum Realty Group. “The benefit of being situated in the heart of a vibrant retail district, with the added advantage of ample parking makes Dodson Place a natural fit.” The Spice House, purveyors of high quality, hand-selected and hand-prepared spices and herbs since 1957, expands its retail presence in the Chicagoland area, newly occupying 2,683 square feet at Dodson Place. The store will follow a long-established tradition of hand-grinding small batches of imported spices on site in order to offer its customers the freshest possible selection. The boutique, located in a storefront suite at 577 S. Third Street in Geneva, Illinois, is the fifth retail location for The Spice House and opened in November 2007. In addition to retail locations in Chicago, Evanston, Illinois and two sites in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, The Spice House also offers its selection of premium spices on line. Front Street Cantina, a Mexican restaurant offering south of the border fare with a flair, will open its fourth suburban Chicago location occupying 3,917 square feet within the Dodson Place development. The restaurant, known for its tasty regional cuisine and large selection of beers, will be located in a storefront suite at 577 S. Third Street and is scheduled to open summer 2008. Front Street Cantina currently operates three additional restaurants in the suburban Chicagoland area with plans for a fifth in the future.
