2006 : See Jane Run Sports Opens Third Store November 2, 2006 See Jane Run Sports, a woman owned and operated performance oriented retail store, will soon open a third store in Boise, Idaho. The company sells high quality women’s active wear including clothing, shoes and accessories for sport and lifestyle will occupy 3,000 square feet at 814 Idaho Street in Downtown Boise. See Jane Run Sports signed a new lease with Baum Development, the building’s owner. Adam Secher of Baum Realty Group, Inc. represented the owner in the transaction. “See Jane Run Sports is a great addition to Boise,” said Secher, principal of Baum Realty Group, Inc. “This is a great location for the company as it will attract a lot of customer traffic. Both See Jane Run and Boise will enjoy the addition of this store.” See Jane Run Sports is set to host the all women’s triathlon “See Jane Tri” and “See Jane Run” an all women’s half marathon. Boise will serve as the home to the third See Jane Run Sports store and marks the company’s expansion as the first store outside of California. Founded in April 2000 in San Francisco, See Jane Run Sports has stores in both San Francisco and Oakland. After the success in San Francisco and Oakland, See Jane Run added an e-commerce business in 2002. In addition to selling active wear, See Jane Run Sports delivers a monthly newsletter, “Jane’s World” and offers training and resources for women running marathons, competing in triathlons, playing soccer, participating in yoga classes and many other fitness activities.
