2006 : International Hilti Corp. Expands in Chicago September 20, 2006 The international Hilti Corporation, which specializes in products for professional customers in the construction industry and in building maintenance, is opening a new store in Chicago. The store, which will be located at 4311 N. Milwaukee Avenue, will be the fourth Hilti Center in Chicago. The company also has locations within four Home Depot stores in the area, however the Hilti Centers offer a more extensive supply of products and services. The lease transaction of the 2,736 square foot space was completed by Anthony Campagni and Allen Joffe, of Baum Realty Group, Inc. “The opening of the fourth Hilti Center in Chicago is very exciting as the demand for Hilti’s products and services continues to grow,” said Campagni. “The location suits the company as well, as it is a highly visible space that will be perfect for the new store.” Founded in 1941, the worldwide Hilti Group evolved from a small family company.
