2006 : BAUM REALTY GROUP ARRANGES SALE OF 23,000-SQ.-FT. OFFICE BUILDING IN JOLIET, ILL. Jan. 17, 2006 Baum Realty Group’s Chad Firsel has arranged the sale of a 23,000-square-foot office building located at 103 Ottawa Street in Joliet, Ill. The multi-tenant building, anchored by Chicago Title, was sold by a local private investor that had owned the ground lease since 1919. The buyer was a San Diego-based private investor. During sales negotiations, both parties were represented by Chad Firsel, executive vice president of Baum Realty Group’s Investment Sales Division. “This is the former Montgomery Ward building that was converted to offices more than 20 years ago,” said Firsel. “It is superbly located, and the new owner is planning to renovate by adding additional windows and reconfiguring the property to accommodate additional tenants.” |
