2005 : CHAD FIRSEL HONORED AS A TOP BROKER BY THE CHICAGO ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS Dec. 6, 2005 Baum Realty Group’s Chad Firsel was one of a select group of commercial real estate professionals honored recently at the 2nd annual CommercialForum Honors Awards. At a ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago he was presented with the top award in the Investment Sales Retail category. The awards were hosted by CommercialForum, a division of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®. “This is well-deserved recognition for Chad,” said David Baum of Baum Realty Group. “He exemplifies the depth of expertise and commitment to providing the highest level of client service here at Baum.” Firsel is executive vice president of Baum Realty Group’s Investment Sales Division. The judging was performed by an independent blue ribbon panel, consisting of real estate journalists and well-known Chicago business leaders. Judges included: Jim Ascot, Ascot Realty Group, Inc.; Rory Foster, Chicago Sun-Times; Jay Rickey, Illinois Real Estate Journal; David Roeder, Chicago Sun-Times; and Millie Rosenbloom, The Habitat Company. The criteria used for judging was an analysis of the closed transaction activity of the nominee from July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005, including the following attributes: gross dollar volume and number of transactions completed. In addition, the judges made the decision based on the candidate’s impact on the community, professionalism/ethics, community involvement, and clients’ and peers’ perception.
