2005 : FOUNTAINBLEU COURT IN HAZEL CREST, IL ACQUIRED FOR $5.4 MILLION BY PRIVATE INVESTOR Baum Realty Group Arranges Acquisition Oct. 17, 2005 The 38,546-square-foot Fountainbleu Court Shopping Center, in Hazel Crest, Ill., has been purchased for $5.4 million by a Deerfield, Ill.-based private investor. The seller was a Schaumburg-based RMS Properties. Located along 183rd Street, the multi-tenant retail center is anchored by Bank One, Radio Shack and Blockbuster Video. Fountainbleu Court opened in 1987 and was renovated in 1997. It is situated in the heart of Hazel Crest, a thriving suburb 20 minutes south of Chicago that is attracting upscale residential development and continued retail growth. During investment negotiations, the buyer was represented by Chad Firsel, executive vice president of Baum Realty Group’s Investment Sales Division. The seller was represented by Robert Mahoney and William Wright of CB Richard Ellis.
