2005 : BAUM REALTY GROUP ANNOUNCES THREE RECENT RETAIL TRANSACTIONS July 13, 2005 Chicago-based Baum Realty Group, a leading retail brokerage firm concentrating on the Chicago metropolitan market, recently completed three transactions. World Gym Express has signed a new lease for 12,000 square feet at Windmill Lakes on the corner of Randall and Wilson roads in Batavia, Ill. A product of the original World Gym, a national chain based in Southern Calif., World Gym Express's newest Chicago area location is scheduled to open this fall. During lease negotiations, World Gym Express was represented by Joe Herron of Mid-America Real Estate Group. The landlord was represented by Allen Joffe and Anthony Campagni of Baum Realty Group. The Furniture Box has signed a lease for its first Chicago location at 1617 N. Clybourn in the Lincoln Park neighborhood that is scheduled to open this winter. The major Sauder furniture retailer's new location features 5,241 square feet of street level retail space plus 2,249 square feet of lower level storage. The Furniture Box also has Chicago area locations in Geneva, Naperville, Tinley Park and Hanover Park. During lease negotiations, The Furniture Box was represented by Fred Feinbloom of Feinbloom Real Estate. The landlord was represented by Janika Brenner and Allen Joffe of Baum Realty Group. Bakery Garden Café, a provider of quality baked goods including gourmet sandwiches and salads, has leased a new 1,221-square-foot location at Congress Center, 525 W. Van Buren in downtown Chicago that is scheduled to open this fall. During lease negotiations, the landlord was represented by Janika Brenner and Allen Joffe of Baum Realty Group. |
