2005 : OAK LAWN RETAIL CENTER SELLS FOR $3.4 MILLION Baum Realty Group Negotiates The Transaction Aug. 4, 2005 A multi-tenant retail center anchored by Washington Mutual Bank and Panera Bread Co. has sold for $3.4 million to a Chicago-based private investor. The 9,280-square-foot property is located at 10545 W. Cicero Ave. in Oak Lawn, Ill. The seller was a developer in Oak Brook, Ill. The transaction was negotiated by Chad Firsel, executive vice president of Baum Realty Group's Investment Sales Division. "This is very stable, income-producing new construction in an excellent high traffic location," said Firsel. Mr. Firsel was able to sell this asset pre-construction, before the building was complete and space was delivered to the respective tenants. The demand for this asset was extremely high due to its great location and national credit tenants. |
