2005 : BAUM REALTY GROUP BREWS UP NEW CHICAGO LOCATION FOR CARIBOU COFFEE Feb. 9, 2005 Leading Chicago-based retail brokerage firm Baum Realty Group has negotiated a new lease for Caribou Coffee at 200 N. LaSalle St., Chicago. This will be Caribou's 52nd location in the Chicago metropolitan area. The 2,041-square-foot store is scheduled to open this summer. Minneapolis-based Caribou Coffee Company is the second largest coffee house chain in the United States with 306 stores in 12 states and the District of Columbia. Caribou Coffee opened its first store in December 1992 in Minneapolis. Greg Kirsch of Baum Realty Group, who exclusively represents Caribou Coffee in the Chicago area market, negotiated the transaction. Representing the landlord, Transwestern, were Janika Brenner and Allen Joffe, also of Baum Realty Group. |
