2004 : BAUM REALTY GROUP ARRANGES SALE OF EAST GATE COMMONS FOR $7.25 MILLION May 17, 2004 Chad Firsel of Baum Realty Group, Inc. has arranged the sale of East Gate Commons in St. Charles, Ill., a 20,700-square-foot retail center developed in 2003 and anchored by Chipotlé, Mattress Giant and other national and regional tenants. A private investor from Pennsylvania purchased the property from a local Chicago-based developer for $7.25 million. This 100 percent leased retail center, located on the southwest corner of Kautz and North Avenue, is a well-stabilized asset in a prime location with strong credit tenants, according to Firsel, executive vice president of Baum Realty Group's Investment Sales Division. "The fact that it was on the market for a very short time underscores the strength of the retail investment sales market." During sales negotiations, Baum Realty Group's Firsel was the sole broker involved in the transaction. |
