Baum Realty Group’s Investment Sales Team began 2013 quickly, procuring a buyer for a two-property portfolio in Chicago’s River North area. The 30,000 SF mixed-use portfolio was purchased by a private equity group for $7,325,000. In April 2013, the Investment Sales Team represented a private seller in an off-market $2,900,000 sale of a two-tenant retail property on N. Damen Avenue in Bucktown. Baum Realty’s Luxury Team was responsible for placing both tenants when the property was initially developed ten years ago. The seller achieved a 6.03% capitalization rate, which set a new benchmark for the entire sub-market.
