The 107,500 sf Home Depot location at 1600 Gadsden Hwy in Trussville, AL has been acquired by a private buyer through a ground lease transaction. Jordan Shtulman, Andrew Watson and Marc Imrem of Baum Realty Group were the sole brokers for this transaction. “In a market where placing permanent debt on commercial property is extremely difficult, the seller was pleased to be in contract with a buyer that funded the entire purchase price 30 days prior to closing,” says Shtulman. “The buyer, who closed all cash, was able to acquire a fantastic investment secured by one of the retail sector’s leading and most stable tenants.” The Home Depot is the world’s largest home improvement retailer with over 2,200 stores in the United States.
