Phil Baugh is the Director of Leasing for Green Exchange. He joined Baum Realty Group in 2005 bringing ten years of experience to his position. As the Director of Leasing Phil actively recruits green businesses and organizations that fit the criteria for the Green Exchange sustainable business community. He has played an integral part in building the community that includes Greenmaker Supply, Performance Bike, Consolidated Printing, Green Building Exchange, Distant Village Packaging and many more. Phil also plays an active role in a variety of Chicago’s green organizations.

Phil is a founding member of the Chicago Sustainable Business Alliance. He is an active member of Net Impact, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Cornell Real Estate Council and is an avid supporter of youth educational programs on sustainability.

In the past year, Phil has been a featured speaker at a number of environmental conferences and meetings including Chicago’s first Green Festival, Co-op America’s Green Business Conference, Urban Land Institute’s Environmental Conference and at the annual ICSC conference held in Las Vegas each year.

Since joining Baum, Phil has also been instrumental in the development of Baum Realty Group’s national brokerage practice. He provides tenant representation services for several clients including Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwich Shops, Great Steaks, Dinner by Design, and CLIX Portrait Studios. Phil also represents landlords including Ryan Companies, @ Properties, Mid-America Development Partners and Universal Realty Group, serving as the leasing agent for their retail properties in the greater Chicago area.

Phil is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a bachelor’s degree in real estate finance.
