| Janika Brenner Vice President Janika Brenner joined Baum Realty Group, LLC in October 2002 after spending five years in public relations. At Baum, Janika specializes in the representation of fashion, lifestyle and home furnishing retailers. She possesses in-depth knowledge of Chicago’s retail scene with a specific focus on urban markets including the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Bucktown/Wicker Park and select upscale suburban areas. Janika maintains strong relationships with national and local boutiques, resulting in transactions with such notable tenants as Scoop NYC, Baker Furniture, American Apparel, Blake, G-Star Denim, Furla, Marc Jacobs, Levi’s, and L’Artisan Parfumeur. Since 2004, she has completed more than 13 transactions in the Bucktown neighborhood helping to transform the area into Chicago’s hippest retail destination. Janika also represents select landlord clients in the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Bucktown and the Loop including Transwestern Investment Company, @ Properties, Preferred Development and Syndicated Equities Corporation. For these clients, Janika has completed transactions with a wide variety of retailers from Margaret O’Leary and Lush to National City Bank and T-Mobile. Janika received a bachelor’s degree Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University. She currently resides in Bucktown with her husband and son, Oliver. |
